Guidance Explorer Roadmap?

We've been evaluating this tool as a means of publishing project specific guiance within our organization. For example, we would likely have published libraries on generic topics that could be used by any project, but for our larger projects, might create a custom library per project, to allow project specific guidance to be shared across team members.

We were particularily excited to see a web version of the tool available, as this would be the ideal deployment mechanism, but were disappointed to see that it is currently limited to read-only.

I noticed that there haven't been any updates since last November, and also noticed a comment in one of the issue trackers that the team was "regrouping" for a new release.

I was hoping to get some feedback on the future of the Guidance Explorer - is this a project that is still being actively worked on, perhaps "behind the scenes"? Are there plans to augment the online version to allow for submissions and the creation of custom views?

Thanks for your interest in Guidance Explorer. We are actively working on GE again and should have a new release out soon. This next release will most likely contain bug fixes and slight feature improvement rather than major enhancements. After this, we will focus on:
- Author tagging: allow authors to tag articles and display a tag cloud to users to help with searches and article discovery
- User rating and feedback: allow users to rate content and provide feedback
- GE online authentication and customization: allow users to log in and customize their experience within the online application. This would include the aforementioned rating, reviews and tagging as well as customizing views and content.
