I want to host the web edition of GE locally in my organization, so that selected people can contribute to guidance explorer online. Is this feature avaialble now?

All of the source is available for the Web edition, the online store, and the offline client. However, the Web edition is not yet on par with the offline client. It's more of a read-only browser of the store at this point.

The simplest scenario is to use the UNC share mode (see http://channel9.msdn.com/wiki/default.aspx/GuidanceLibrary.GEFAQ013)

In this scenario, you share xml files on a network share. Each GE client connects to the network share. This gives you a very simple, up and running scenario for hosting shared guidance.

But the documentation is too poor to use it properly.

I have downloaded the code, but the online client is not getting the contents of the online store.

I am trying to set up the Guidance Explorer online client to work with the Online store and not getting enough time to understand how it is designed to work. There is no documentation either. I shall like to know if anybody tried the same and done it so. I want my teams to share the guidance library from the online client as I don't want everybody to use the smart client solution as it takes up more administrative requirements and include hassles for management.

Please get back if anybody can help.
